- Contestants must be seated and approved life
vest worn when operating the combustion engine.
- Boats are required to have a working live
well, and a safety kill switch which must be used when operating the
combustion engine.
- Partner drawings will be made at the meeting
prior to each tournament along with the starting positions It is the
responsibility of each member to know who your partner is.
- To be eligible to fish a tournament, you must
be in the drawing prior to that tournament. If you are unable to attend the
meeting, you may contact a member to have your name put in the drawing, if you
miss the drawing you can still fish but, you must contact an officer and go as
a non-boater, unless boats are needed.
- The last boat drawn will be the starter boat
and that person will responsible for collecting the money for the side kitty.
- During the tournament blast-off, a boat will
be on plane before the next boat is allowed to start.
- There is a 5 fish limit.
- A 4-ounce penalty will be assessed for each
dead fish weighed in, and a 1 pound penalty will be assessed for each short
fish.
- Each boat must be at the ramp at the
designated quitting time. A 1 pound penalty will be assessed for each minute
late. After 15 minutes, the boat and contestants will be disqualified, this
also includes the Big Fish.
- Only artificial bait is permitted.
- Non-boaters will be paired by a draw. After
all non-boaters are paired, boaters may have the option of pairing or fishing
alone. If 2 boaters pair up, they may use the better of the two starting
positions.
- The non-boater will reimburse the boater at
least $25.00.
- A club member shall not fish within 50 yards
of another anchored club member with a trolling motor up.
- The largest number of live fish weighed in
shall determine a tie-breaker. A coin toss shall break any further ties.
- 10 Show-up points will be given for each
tournament started.
- Any member taking part in a regional or state
tournament is responsible for fees. Any person causing a team to be withdrawn
from a regional tournament will be responsible for the team entry fees
unless an alternate is found
- The club will fish 8 tournaments and each
contestant must throw out one for the final point standings.
- Tournament sites and dates once approved can
not be changed without tournament committee approval.
